Spirit Week Promotes PAD’s Core Values

With offices in Illinois, Texas, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin, Codilis & Associates provides legal services to those needing assistance with real estate matters. Codilis and Associates also supports professional organizations including Phi Alpha Delta (PAD), a law fraternity that serves students, educators, the community, and legal practitioners.

Each year the organization encourages chapters to participate in Spirit Week, where alumni, law students, and pre-law students engage in activities that promote PAD’s mission of inclusivity, diversity, professionalism, and community. Most recently held in February 2020, Spirit Week encouraged chapters to participate in a professional development seminar, a Valentine’s fundraiser, a health initiative walk, and a recruitment drive.

The pinnacle community service event was its “Project Linus — Make a Blanket Day,” sponsored by the PAD Foundation Inspiration Fund. Through Project Linus, disadvantaged children around the country received homemade blankets and quilts. The blankets were delivered to children through hospitals, homeless shelters, and social service agencies. The project is one of many that PAD funds to support local communities.
